Web design

Cultural Erasure is a website designed to be a research hub for resources regarding the Black Lives Matter movement and information regarding the history of racial injustice against black lives. The direction taken for this design was to showcase erasure through the colour story. By using a white background and light grey type, the text appears as though it is being erased or disappearing. Additionally, the bylines are done in light grey to metaphorically depict the discrediting that black individuals face, however, the full list of contributors are credited clearly at the end of the site.
